Omom-Family Pictures

This blog was started so I can post family pictures for members to view. It is intended for family members and friends to reconnect via the web and hopefully find long, lost kin. It was created as a partner site to my sister's other blog, "When I was your Age...". She has the oral history, I have the pics (old and current ones). CLICK on Pictures for larger views.

Family Pictures

This blog is intended for family members and friends to view. It was created as a partner site to my sister's other blog, "When I was your Age...". She has the oral history, I have the pics (old and current ones). I was inspired to create this new blog after being "found" on the internet by long-lost cousins whom we've never met. I always knew of them from pictures and stories from older relatives but because my Uncle's family were living in Naga, Philippines and we were in Baguio City, we never had the chance to meet. Then my sisters and I moved to the states and that was that. My cousin mentioned that she saw a post I created on a genealogy site and saw her dad's picture on it; it was the impetus for her reaching out and sending me an email to introduce herself. Now, how cool is that?! So, since we have so much to catch up on and we (as a family) are spread, literally, around the globe, I thought this site would be a jumping-off point to get to know everyone and share pictures of kin. So here's the first installment, no order in particular, I'll just start up-loading what I have:

2003 Aunty Liz, Papa, Uncle Ben and Aunty Insing (Inocencia Pasibe Gatchalian). Aunty Insing visited the states and stayed for 6 months. She went back to Aringay, La Union where she says she feels most at home.
